February 11th, 2025 is Canada's Agriculture Day! How will you celebrate?

As part of the celebrations, Agriculture in the Classroom Newfoundland and Labrador (AITC-NL) will be hosting an in-person event at St. Bernard's Elementary in Witless Bay. Agriculture in the Classroom NL will be hosting a trade show in the gymnasium with farmers, agriculture professionals and special guests. Students will also receive exciting resources and giveaways AND a LIVE performance by the Juno Award winning band- The Swinging Belles!

All teachers (Kindergarden-12) throughout the province will also have the opportunity to participate through a Social Media contest. Show us how your class celebrates Canada’s Agriculture Day, and be sure to add the hashtag #CdnAgDay and tag @AITCNL. We encourage all teachers to show us how they celebrate the food we grow here in Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as Canada.
